Privacy policy

This policy explains, in plain English, what DRS Hub does with information from this website. It is short because we collect very little.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it counts page views without fingerprinting you, without following you across sites, and without building a profile. Because nothing on this site requires consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, there is no cookie banner. That is deliberate.

There are no advertising pixels, no social media trackers, no session recording, and no third-party fonts or scripts — everything the page needs is served from this domain.

Your product file stays in your browser

The Readiness Check analyses the file you choose entirely inside your own web browser using JavaScript. The file is never uploaded to us, never sent anywhere, and never stored. Close the tab and it is gone. If you then ask for the full report, we receive only the details you type into the form and the three headline counts shown on screen — never rows, product names or barcodes from your file.

What we collect when you contact us

When you submit a form on this site, we receive:

• your name, company, email address and, where you give it, your number of stores;
• anything you type into a message box;
• which page you submitted from, and any estimate you generated with our calculator;
• a one-way hash of your IP address, kept purely to stop the form being abused. We cannot reverse it to an IP address.

We use this to reply to you and to prepare what you asked for. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.

Where it is held

Enquiries are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and notified to us by email. Cloudflare processes the request that delivers this website to you, including your IP address, to serve the page and protect against abuse.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Ask us sooner and we will delete them sooner.

Your legal basis and your rights

We handle your enquiry on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to a business request you made of us. Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to it entirely. Email [email protected] and we will act within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Links to other sites

We link to public sources such as Exchange for Change, GOV.UK and the ACS so you can check our facts. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will change the date at the top. There is no archive of previous versions; ask us if you need one.
